We call ladyfinger as bhindi in hindi.

This dish could be served with roti as well for simple weeknight dinner. There is also no other veggie like onions, tomatoes etc added. So there is less chopping work and the recipe is very easy.

Turn off the flame, bhindi fry is ready to serve. Bhindi (okra) raita kali mirch. Delicious 'bhindi ki sabzi | okra fry without onion' is ready to be served.

Cover it again for a minute. Add chopped green chillies, add chopped onion and fry till golden brown and crisp. Add fennel seeds (saunf), dry red chillis, cumin seeds (jeera) and fry it for 1 min.

You can also pack this in your lunch box with tawa parathas. Pyaz wali bhindi is a popular dry vegetable in punjabi cuisine usually served with kadhi pakora along with parathas for the lunch menu.
